This page explains what personal data is processed when you book a table or use norrepark.se, why it is needed and what rights you have.

When you book a table

We process the information needed for the booking: name, email address, number of guests and booking information. Phone number and practical requests are optional. Do not include sensitive personal information in the free-text field. The information is used to receive, administer and confirm the booking and, when necessary, to contact you about it.

The processing is necessary to manage your booking and take steps at your request before your visit. Information may also need to be processed to comply with legal obligations or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

How long information is kept

Direct guest details in the booking system are normally retained for 180 days after the event date. After that, names, email addresses, phone numbers, free-text requests, booking references and technical cancellation tokens are removed. Non-identifying booking data, such as number of guests, booking date, arrival time and booking status, may be retained for statistics and business analysis. Information may need to be retained for longer where required by law or to handle a legal claim.

Service providers and recipients

Personal data may be processed by technical providers required for web hosting, data storage and email delivery. They may only process the information to provide the service in accordance with the hotel’s instructions and applicable data protection requirements.

To protect the booking form against automated abuse, we use Cloudflare Turnstile. The security check processes technical browser and connection signals needed to distinguish normal traffic from automated traffic. The content you enter in the booking form is not sent to Turnstile as part of this check.

Cookies and session data

The website uses technically necessary session data for security and the booking flow, as well as a language cookie that remembers whether you selected Swedish or English. These are not used for advertising.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to request access to your personal data, rectification, erasure or restriction, and to object to certain processing. If you believe personal data is being processed incorrectly, you may also lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).

This policy may be updated when the website or our procedures change. The version published here is the current version.
